Organising Festive Boards

Whilst recognising that these events are often an established part of the enjoyment for many Companions, this should not deter Chapters from responding to member feedback and considering a range of enjoyable alternative possibilities that may provide variety, increase attendance, and promote growth.

What do we want (Aims) How do we get there (Steps) What to use (Resources)
aim i) To consider alternatives to traditional Festive Boards to suit the needs of all Companions
  • Use the information obtained via GROW as a start for your decisions and consider additional surveys if necessary. There are many different options, all of which can be enjoyable.

Case Study: Different Dining Options

aim ii) To use Festive Boards and other social events as a means of attracting non-RA Masons
  • Identify opportunities within the Chapter calendar of meetings when non-RA Masons could be invited to attend either the Festive Board or other social events
